Louis S. Craig, age 83, of Hammond, IN passed away Friday, June 5, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Shirlee; 4 children, Jeff (Barb) Craig of Orange Park, FL, Susan "Debbie" Craig of Griffith, IN, John (Rebecca) Craig of Hammond, IN and Nancy Craig of Hobart, IN; 7 grandchildren, Angela (Kevin) Demantes of Schererville, IN, Johnny (Claudia) Craig of Munster, IN, Benjamin (Gina Zambori) Craig of Hammond, IN, Shane Mock of Ypsilanti, MI, Nikki Mock of Hobart, IN, Jordan and Cameron Craig of Orange Park, FL; 4 great grandchildren, Brendan, Jacob, Delaney and Benjamin; 2 nephews, David (Dawn) Craig of Eagen, MN and Dan (Kim) Craig of St. Paul, MN; 1 niece, Kathy (Avin) Duncan of Chelmsford, MA; 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Antrim of Watertown, SD and Pat Craig of St. Paul, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Susan Craig of Huron, SD, and a brother, Donald Craig of Mankato, MN. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 11:30 AM from Woodmar United Methodist Church, 7320 Northcote Ave., Hammond, IN with Rev. Robert Raschka officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday morning at the church from 9:30 AM until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Woodmar United Methodist Church. Lou was a resident of this area for 53 years and a member of Woodmar United Methodist Church of Hammond, IN. He was a retired FBI Agent and served in the US Navy during World War 2 and Korea. Lou was a member of N. A. R. F. E. and a former member of the Munster Kiwanis Club.
