Lorraine D. Jasperson, age 77, of Hammond, IN passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 at the University of Chicago Medical Center after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harry G.; 2 daughters, Lynn (Tom) Long of Rosemont, MN and Sandra (Leo) Bogusz of Highland, IN; 3 grandchildren, Sgt. Eric (Kim) Long of Fort Bragg, NC, Keith Long of Rosemont, MN and Samantha Bogusz of Highland, IN; 1 great grandson, Colin Long; 1 sister, Pat (George) Rogers of Highland, IN. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 7:30 PM from LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN with Rev. Sky Allen officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday from 2-4 & 6PM until time of services. Lorraine was a lifetime resident of this area and a member of Faith United Church of Christ of Hammond, IN. She was an avid pinochle player and bowler.
