Lorraine D. Barney, a longtime resident of Hammond, IN passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 in Palm Bay, FL. She was born in Chicago, IL and had lived in Brevard County, FL since 1991. She was a loving wife to the late Louis Barney, and sister to the late Elmer and Leroy Dachota. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews survive. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, January 18, 2010 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic, FL. A Committal Service will be held Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 11 AM at the St. John Cemetery Chapel, 1547-167th St., Hammond, IN with Rev. Richard Orlinski officiating.
