Lois M. Ewan, age 82, of Hammond, IN passed away Friday, August 27, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Emmett; 2 sons, Bart and Dwight Ewan; 1 granddaughter, Christel Ewan. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 11 AM from LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN with Pastor Wesley Helfenbein officiating. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday morning from 9 AM until time of services. Lois was a resident of this area for over 40 years and worked as a clerk for the Social Security Administration for 24 years.
