Lillian Marie Paolucci (nee Burbridge) March 26, 1917 - July 17, 2010 Lillian Marie Paolucci (nee Burbridge) age 93 of Hammond, IN passed on into eternal paradise to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, July 17, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ellen Burbridge, her husband, Henry Paolucci, daughter, Patricia Paolucci Waters, three brothers and three sisters. Lillian is survived by three children, Barbara (John) Kocian of Highland, IN, Darrell (Barbara) Wolfe of Findley, OH and Linda Vanwhite of Hammond, IN; two step-children, Sharon (Jim) Parkes of Roseville, MI and Patty Wilson of MI; thirteen grandchildren, Lorraine Driml, Steven Kocian, Cynthia Rashkow, Darrell Wolfe, Jr. (Skip), Jennifer Everly, Rebecca Smith, Mary Beth Hickok, Nathan Waters, Sally Karoko, Tina Vanwhite, Kimberly Amos, David Vanwhite, Jaime Scott Vanwhite; eleven great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; many wonderful in heart nieces and nephews; and good friend, Betty Morris. Lillian was born in Farmington, IL and has been a Hammond resident since 1946. She was an excellent cook and managed a few restaurants. In the early 1970's, she managed National Uniform Shop of Hammond, IN for five years. Lillian was and still is a child of God, and very important in His Kingdom. Her natural love for Jesus and Jesus in her heart, blossomed out through her life and touched many people. God's angels walked through life with Lillian and always guided her path during her 93 years. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her and her loving, sweet spirit in nature. A special thank you to Dyer Nursing and Rehabilitation Home for their kindness of 19 months and to hospice for their love and dedication. Lillian now resides in paradise and is a cherished soul. God's Blessing to everyone. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 21, 201 at 10 AM from LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN with Chaplain Bob Rawlins officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
