Kyle James Kasper, age 27, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Kyle was born in Munster, Indiana on November 16, 1990 to his biological parents, Dana Stock (nee Herakovich) and Patrick Dex O'Connor. Kyle attended Gavit High School in Hammond, Indiana and was a talented writer and artist. One of his favorite writers was Kurt Vonnegut. Kyle learned how to weld and was last employed as a building manager in Chicago, IL. Kyle will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his biological parents; uncle, Richard "Scot" Millgard; great aunts: Karen Clark (nee Grekoff), Jan Pagoria (nee Grekoff), Hammond "aunt" Lori Swearingen-Goers; soul mate, Amanda Morrison and numerous cousins and other relatives throughout the country. Preceded in death by his adopted parents: William Kasper and Patricia Kasper (nee Grekoff); biological grandparents: James "Rocky" Herakovich and Carol "Kay" Herakovich (nee Grekoff); uncle, James "Dustin" Herakovich. A memorial service will take place Wednesday, January 24, 2018 6:00 p.m. at LaHayne Funeral Home (6955 Southeastern Ave. Hammond, IN).
