Kenneth Schiemann, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on Friday May 24, 2024.

He was born on August 12, 1935, in Chicago IL. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy (Lorenzen) Schiemann; two daughters: Sue (Dave) Jebens and Debbie (Mike) Jones; grandchildren: Anna Jebens, Nikki (Jason) Cooper, Clarice Jebens, Jennifer Jones, Michael Jones, Emily Jones, Gregory Ryba and Valerie Ryba, one great-granddaughter, Piper Cooper; son-in-law, Jerry Ryba; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Frieda and Albert Schiemann; his infant daughter, Sandra Schiemann; daughter, Kathie Ryba and infant granddaughter, April Ryba; His siblings: Anita Hoger and Carol Martin.

Ken served in the US Air Force from 1956 to 1961. He retired from Acme Steel after 24 years He was involved in his church, Zion Lutheran Church on Stony Island in Chicago. He loved working on cars and woodworking.

An Inurnment will take place DIRECTLY at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, located at 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 1:30 PM With Military Honors performed.
