Kathryn N. Knautz nee Peach, age 86, of Hammond, passed away November 03, 2013. Loving mother of Harold "Jack" (Carol) Catt, Larry (Donna) Catt, Vicki (Donald) Haines, Denver (Caroline) Catt, and Nancy (Michael) Scott. Cherished sister of Leon (Vonnie) Peach and preceded in death by Josephine Alexander, Maxine Chandler, Ella Fields, Denven Peach, Norma Warner, and Banerva Dawkins. Proud grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and half-sister to many. Former wife of Joseph J. Knautz. Kathryn played the guitar and was a fantastic singer. She enjoyed cooking and even made the best homemade noodles. Most of all, she loved spending time with all her grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be missed by more. Funeral Service will be Friday, November 8, 2013 at 11 AM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN with Rev. Steve Kosinski, Pastor officiating Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 2 PM until 8 PM with a 7 PM Service by the Salvation Army Hammond/Munster Corp with Lt.
