Kathleen Ann Petrak, age 74, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017. Born on December 04, 1942 in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Matthew J. and Catherine F. Petrak. Kathleen retired from Conrail after 35 years of service. She enjoyed bingo and watching the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bears. Kathleen was a devoted Sister and Aunt. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by one brother, Timothy Petrak; sister-in-law, Yvonne Petrak; niece, Anastasia (Bryan) Cole; great nieces and nephews: Jasmine, Alyssa, Bry, Chaz, Jaden, Austin; special cousins: Dave and Dianne Tobias, Mary Ann and Buddy Kreevich, Kevin Tobias; and many friends and family members. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Matthew R. Petrak. Funeral services will take place Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, Indiana.
