Kathleen "Katy" Andres nee Keys, age 79, of Hammond, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Loving mother of Janet Andres, who was the light of her life. Proud grandma of Stephanie Andres and Michelle Andres. Dearest great-grandma of Alannah McDowell and Jayden Hunter. Beloved sister of Donald "Don" (Cathy) Keys. Special mother-in-law of Mylinda Pindrock. Preceded in death by her husband Jule J. Andres, daughter Tina Andres, son Donald Andres, brother Allison "Al" Keys, and sister Patricia "Pat" Craw. Besides her family, Katy enjoyed painting, crochet, and knitting. One of her favorite quotes was "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. But Today is a gift, that's why they call it the Present. Katy was loved by many and will be missed by more.
