Biestek nee Truhn , age 97, of Hammond, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 Loving mother of Dr. Arthur (Connie) Euler, Lawrence (Sally) Biestek, Marie (late Jose) Sanchez, and Eileen (late George) Tuttle. Beloved grandmother of Christina "Tina" Sanchez-Olejnik, Elizabeth (Jimmy) Kelley, Katherine Euler, Rebecca Biestek, Nicholas Tuttle, Natalie Tuttle, and Yolanda Buxbaum. Adoring great-grandmother of Kaitlyn Kelley, Hannah Kelley, and Madalyn Buxbaum. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Dear Friend of Keith Swantko and George Sims. Preceded in death by her husbands Arthur J. Euler and John S. Biestek, and her parents Julius Truhn and Marie Truhn nee Sarau, and her 3 brothers and 3 sisters. June was most proud of the fact that she graduated from St. Margarets School of Nursing in 1940. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. June was an avid animal lover and always had animals in her home. She was loved by many and will be missed by more.
