Julie Ann Kab (nee Harper), age 44, of Hammond, passed away suddenly Sunday, February 03, 2013. Beloved Daughter of Judith Ann Harper (nee Kaminski) of Hammond. Loving Sister to Thomas Harper of Munster and Timothy Harper of Hammond. Fond Niece of Ray (Agnes) Harper, Shirley (late Julius) Kristoff. Cherished Cousin to Laurel, Raetta, George, John, Jane, Christine, Francine, Theresa, Chris, Jim, and Angeline. Special "Mom" to Alyssa Czerwinski. Fond Friend to many. She will be missed by her beloved cats Briggs and Lovie. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Stanley C. and Ann Kaminski and Earl and Gladys Harper, her Uncles Stanley T. Kaminski, Walter Janik, and Leo Yazumbek, and her Aunts Annie Janik, Stephanie Yazumbek, and Sharon Kantola. Julie was a graduate of Gavit High School Class of 86 in Hammond and attended Franklin College in Franklin and completed her degree at Columbia College in 1991 in Chicago. She was a DATIA (Drug & Alcohol Testing Industry Assoc.) Certified Professional Specimen Collector and Trainer with Quest Diagnostics. She also worked part time with the City of Hammond. She enjoyed photography, music, and was a huge Bears fan. Through Father Schulte, she became a professional clown known as Hyper. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 2 PM to 8 PM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Ave. Hammond, IN Funeral Service Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11 at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME with Reverend Richard Orlinski, Pastor officiating.
