Judith Ann "Judy" Rutz (nee Djenka), age 64, of St. John, IN passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jim; 3 sons, James (Kim) Rutz, Jr. of South Lebanon, OH, Jeremy (Melissa) Rutz of Royersford, PA and Jason (Beth) Rutz of Westfield, IN; 4 grandchildren, Cameron, Gillian, Emily and Matthew; mother, Peggy Djenka of Hessville, IN; and mother-in-law, Virginia Rutz of Dyer, IN. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Djenka, and a brother, Louis Djenka, Jr. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 7:30 PM from LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated.
