With great sadness and heavy hearts we share the unexpected passing of Joseph Dentro III of Hammond, IN, on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at the age of 54 yrs. Joe was filled with love for his family, and they meant everything to him. Joe grew up in Calumet City. He graduated from TF North HS and was a Sheet metal worker. He was proud to have coached CC Little League for many years. Joe blessed everyone he met with love, humor, and affection. He was the calming force in our family. He was the sunshine on our cloudy days. Always thinking of others before himself. Joe was an amazing, gentle, and beautiful person. He leaves a void that will never be filled. He will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. Survivors are his loving mother, Betty Toth; brother: Thomas Lemke; sister: Sherry (Brian) Pawlus, brother: Anthony Dentro, nephews: Kenneth (Crystal) Dettloff, Joseph Lemke; Gary Ottomanelli; nieces: Morgan Schaap, and Jessica Ottomanelli; great nephews: Andrew Dettloff, Christopher & Isiah Ottomanelli and Brock Holstein.
