Joseph "Joe" A. Majoch Jr., age 74, US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, of Hammond, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017. Loving father of Bryan (Sherry) Majoch. Cherished brother-in-law of Frances Majoch. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his wife Doryne L. Majoch nee Milius, his parents Joseph A. Majoch, Sr, and Julia Majoch nee Kozaklewiez, and his brothers Richard Majoch and Chester Majoch. Dearest friend to his grandkitty Crissy. Joe retired from Republic Steel and from the City of Hammond. He loved growing his orchids in his green house. Joe looks forward to being reunited with his one true love Doryne. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 6:30 PM with Reverend John B. Barasinski, Pastor from Saint Ann of the Dunes Catholic Church officiating with a flag presentation by the US Army to follow at at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME , 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond.
