John E. Trimmel "Daddio" John E. Trimmel, age 90, of Hammond, IN passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010. He is survived by his loving companion, Lucille M. Klein; 5 children, Peggy Scott, John J. (Marilyn) Trimmel, Pat (Phil) Zaborowski, Janet (David) Keck, and Susan (Bob) Zuver; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Joey Trimmel. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10 AM from LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN with Pastor Richard Brown officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until time of services. John was a veteran of WW2, serving in the 7th Army Band under Gen. Patton, a lifetime member of Musician Union Local # 203 and a member of the Buddy Pressner Orchestra. He retired from the payroll department at Inland Steel Co. where he worked for 42 years.
