John Peter Gawron, age 28, of Hammond, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Loving son of Bonnie J. (Jim) Bruce and David W. Gawron. Beloved brother of Robert R. (Melody) Welch and Gloria J. Gawron. Proud grandson of Bob Ray and Melva J. Carlson, Thaddeus J, and Gloria J. Gawron, and Alice M. Bruce. Fond nephew and cousin and friend of many. Cherished by his feline friend Delilah. John was a gamer who loved playing Play Station III. He even became a Beta. Tester, receiving the games before the general public. His was proud of his dragon collection. He was loved by many and will be missed by more. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 1 PM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond with Reverend Alphonse Skerl, Pastor officiating. Interment Private.
