John R. Bieszczak, age 63, of Lakeview, AR, Formerly of Hammond, IN, passed away Monday, December 7, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (nee Posey); children, Jody (Jay) Malizia, Jimmy (Samantha) Bieszczak, Jeannine (Rick) Elsworth, Jason Bieszczak, Jeremiah (Lora) Bieszczak, Dawn and Scott Plass, Joey Ballon and Farrah Askew; siblings, Chuck (Peggy) Bieszczak, Linda (Sonny) Lukas and Mickey Bieszczak; sister-in-law, Rose (John) Theis; 22 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, John. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 10 AM from LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN, with Rev. Richard Orlinski officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, IL. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, December 11, 2009 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. John, an avid hunter and fisherman and an expert Taxidermist, was a former employee of the Town of Munster, IN. He belonged to the Moose Lodge and the Knights of Columbus.
