Joann Wehmer, age 94 of Hammond, IN passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021.

Joann is survived by her children: Pamela (Tom) Scherer and Charles (Adrianne) Wehmer; grandchildren: Tiffany Scherer, Kira (Sahaj) Tietion, Elizabeth (Bill) Aguilera and Morgan Wehmer; Great-grandchildren: Brayden, Mason and Layla; numerous nieces and nephews.  Joann was preceded in passing by her parents: Delbert and Hazel Krontz; her husband, Donald; and by her 11 siblings.

Joann was a member of the Golden Agers Club in Munster. She loved playing BINGO and thoroughly enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas.  Above all else, Joann was happiest when spending time with her grandchildren and family.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Bob Parnell officiating.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM.
