Joan "Joanie" L. Thielman, age 75, of Hammond, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012.

Beloved daughter of the late Elmer and the late Iona (nee Allison) Thielman. Loving sister of Claudia Thielman. Cherished cousins Bob (Judy) Trost, Tom (Pat) Trost, and numerous other cousins. Fond niece of the late Lillian (late Harry) Trost.

Joanie graduated from Hammond Tech and retired from World Book Encyclopedia in Chicago. She will be loved and missed by all.
