Joan C. Atzhorn nee Guy, age 85, of Hammond, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Saturday, April 8, 2017. Beloved wife for 60 years to Edward M. Atzhorn. Loving mother of Carol (Garry) Chalmers and Edward (Jan) Atzhorn. Devoted sister of Robert (Marijane) Guy, Sharon Guy, and Douglas (Kathy) Guy. Proud grandmother of Alexis Atzhorn. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph C. Guy and Mary H. Guy nee Nemcek. Joan was in the graduating Class of '49 from George Rodgers Clark High School in Hammond. She was an avid gardener. Joan was loved by many and will be missed by more.
