Jessie M. Yonker "Peanut", age 66, of Hammond, IN., passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.

Jessie is survived by her mother, Helen Villarreal; siblings: Silvia (David) Salazar, Mary Ann (Thomas) Quinn, Monica Villarreal, Hector (Julia) Villarreal, Jr., Maria (Larry) Bell, Louis (Julie) Villarreal, Henry Villarreal, Juan (Adrienne) Villarreal and Amy (Lucas) Lasche; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family; good friend, Vanessa.  She was preceded in passing by her father, Hector Villarreal, Sr.; brother, Joseph; sister, Angela; nephew, Joshua.

Services will take place on Monday, October 14, 2024, from 10:00 AM through 12:00 PM with a memorial ceremony beginning at 11:00 AM. Services will be held at LaHaye Funeral Home, located at 6955 Southeastern Ave, Hammond, IN.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00.

Jessie was a graduate of Hammond Technical Vocational High School, class of 1976 and worked as a tax professional for most of her career.  Jessie enjoyed music and loved her pets dearly.  She loved taking frequent trips to the Casino. Jessie will be missed by all who knew and loved her
