Jennie "Granny" V. Jones nee Reeves, age 82, of Hammond, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2016. Beloved wife for 60 years to Loyd Jones. Devoted mother of Sherry Batchelor and Michael (Karleen) Jones. Proud grandma of Jeanie (Steve) Perry, Mitchell (Ashley) Jones, Amy (Christopher) Lunceford, Tanya (Jason) Jones, and Taylor Jones. Loving great-grandma of Steven Perry, Deanna Perry, Arianna Lunceford, Ema Brown, Deven (Coop) Jones, Michael (Brody) Jones, Sadie Jones, Callie Lunceford, and Kenneth Lunceford. Cherished sister in-law of Edith Morrison. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Jennie was preceded in death by her parents Luther and Jeanie Reeves nee Upton, her in-laws Tom and Grace Jones, son in-law Kenneth Batchelor, brother in-laws Floyd Jones and Louis Jones, and several brothers and sisters. Jennie enjoyed cooking and summering in Arizona. She was very proud of her title as Granny.
