Jeannette J. Johnson, age 72, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 13, 1945 to the late Joseph and Sophie Jopek. Jeannette enjoyed playing Mario party on Wii and spending time with her grand and greatgrandchildren. She loved camping, teaching us to cook like her and being sarcastic! She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by three children: Tommy D. Johnson, Lynn Tadros, Laura Dynia; grandchildren: Steven Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, Samantha Tadros, Tommy Johnson Jr., Jordan Tadros, Sarah Dynia, Melissa Johnson; greatgrandchildren: Andrew, Weston, Nolan Morgan, Sean Vance, Roman; siblings: Joann Cooper, Collette Campbell Gary Jopek. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Johnson and her parents. Funeral Services will take place Friday, December 8, 2017 11:00 a.m. at LaHayne Funeral Home (6955 Southeastern Ave. Hammond, IN). Interment St. John St. Joseph Cemetery.
