Jean A. Grabelle, age 95, of Hammond, IN passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn J. Grabelle of Hammond, IN; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley (Graebielucha) Grabelle, 4 sisters, Ann, Stacia, Frances, and Mary, and 2 brothers, Joe and John. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 20, 2010 at 10 AM directly from St. Joseph Church, 5310 Hohman Ave., Hammond, IN with Rev. Richard Orlinski officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. Jean lived in Chicago, IL before moving to Hammond, IN. She worked as a seamstress for Chicago Pleating and was a member of Griffith Grandmother's Club.
