Janet "Mom" A. Flores nee Teeple, age 81, of Hammond, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015.

Beloved wife for 52 year to late Daniel M. Flores, Sr. Loving mother of Timothy (Evon) Flores, Regina (Ronald) Jones, Gregory (Darlene) Flores, Antonio (Millie) Flores, Mark (Amber) Flores, Scott (Eva) Flores, Daniel (Belem) Flores, Jr, Jodi (Mike) Fentress, Michelle (Mario) Garcia, and Jennifer (Angie) Flores. Cherished sister of Karen (Jack) Pardell. Proud grandmother of 32. Dearest great-grandmother of 13. Fond aunt of many Nieces and Nephews.

Janet was very involved with neighborhood politics. While living in Hammond, she started the Turner Park Youth Fellowship Organization. She also was the Precinct Committee Woman. Everybody on Summer Street called her Mom. Most of all, Janet loved spending time with her family. She was loved by many and will be missed by more.
