James "Jim" E.  Riley, age 74, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Beloved husband of 47 years to Sylvia K. Riley nee Stemper. Devoted father of James (Lauren) Riley II and Kevin (Desiree) Riley. Proud grandfather of Naomie Riley, Sarah Riley and Brittany Riley. Fond uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Friend to his dogs Smokey and Harley. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. Jim was known to many as "Rhino". He was loved by many and will be missed by more.

James was a proud donor.  Through his selfless gift, he has been able to provide another to have the gift of sight.
