Isaiah "Ike" Johnson, age 67, of Hammond, IN., passed away February 8, 2021 at his home.

Ike is survived by his nephew, David W. (Drenda L.) Thomas; niece, Peggy Sue Gorecki; nephew, Eugene R. Powers; sister-in-law, Sue Johnson; friend, Peter E. (Debbie) Krukowski; and his great nephews: Mark C. Moes, Jennifer Moes, Timmy (Emily) Thomas, David (Sherrironica) Thomas Jr., Kenny (Kellie) Thomas, Craig Johnson, Thomas Johnson and Laura Johnson.  Ike was preceded in passing by his siblings: Warren Johnson, Janet Powers and Pricilla Robinson and his niece, Jeannie Thomas.

Isaiah was a former member of Moose and the F.O.P.  He graduated from Hammond Tech High School.  He had a passion for working on cars, and was a huge movie fan.  As an avid gardener, everyone could always count on being supplied with fresh vegetables and flowers.  Ike took time to visit with the sick as often as he could.  He was a genuine, good-hearted person and will be missed by all who knew him.
