Irvin "Bud" W. Arrenholz, Jr., age 89, US Marine Corps Veteran of WWII, of Hammond, IN passed Thursday, August 25, 2016. Beloved husband for 65 years of Beverly J. Arrenholz nee Wells. Loving father of Steven E. Arrenholz and Alan W. Arrenholz. Proud grandfather of Jason (Jennifer) Arrenholz, Emily (Michael) Zelevitz. Dearest great-grandfather of 7. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Irvin W. Arrenholz, Sr. and Lola G. Arrenholz nee Whitlow, his son John M. Arrenholz, and his siblings James D. (late Florence) Arrenholz, Dale Arrenholz and Betty Arrenholz. Irvin was a long time member of Christ Lutheran Church in Hammond and very active with the Boy Scouts of America. In his retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and camping. Irvin was loved by many and will be missed by more. Friends are invited to celebrate Irvin's life with his family on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 4 PM until 8 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home , 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN. Lying in State on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 10 AM until time of Service at 10:30 AM with The Rev. Dr. John J. Santoro officiating at Christ Lutheran Church, 7051 Indianapolis Blvd., Hammond, IN.
