Helen L. Sabo nee Repka, age 92, of Hammond, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Cherished wife of the late Joseph S. Sabo. Loving mother of Andrea (Robert) Andrzejewski of Rensselaer, IN Kenneth (Anella) Sabo of Holiday, FL, Linda (Michael) White of Griffith, IN, and the late Joseph J. Sabo. Proud grandmother of David (Anna) Creviston, Rhonda (Mark) Evans, Christopher Sabo, Melissa (Matthew) Turner, Cassandra White, Michael J. White, and Roberta (Darin) Lee. Dearest great-grandmother of Michaeleen, Austin, Reena, Kyle, Jacob, and David. Helen earned her LPN at Purdue University-Calumet. She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years and was a member of the Rosary Society at Holy Trinity Hungarian Church in East Chicago, IN and at St. John Bosco in Hammond, IN Lying in State Monday, July 30, 2012 at 10 AM until time of Mass at 10:30 AM at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 7113 Columbia Ave, Hammond, IN with Rev. Richard Orlinski officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the Family on Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 3 PM until 8 PM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond.
