Helen "Busha" J. Legel nee Pachowicz, age 83, of Hammond, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Helen was a devoted wife of 53 years to the late Robert S. Legel and a cherished mother to 9. She was also a sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. Helen lived in Illinois, Nebraska, and Indiana. While known for her colorful phraseology, she was loving and caring to everyone and most proud of her titles "Busha", "Big Busha", and "Super Busha". We will always love you Our Sunshine.
