Harold C. "H" Reddigton, age 66, of Calumet City, Il, formerly of Hammond, IN passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009. He is survived by his sister, Pat Reddington; brother, Roland (Betty) Reddington; 2 nieces, Dara (David) Barth and Penny (Ray) Ill; 3 nephews, Glen (Terry) Smith, Richard (Diane) Reddington and Ronald Reddington; great nieces and great nephews, David Dalton, Dan Dalton, Seth Smith, Alexis Reddington, Zakary Reddington, Melyssa Reddington, Kelle Ill and Christopher Ill; great great nephew Killar Smith; long time friend, Terrie Tate, and special friends, Bob and Sharon Damptz and Liz and John Eliopoulos. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Doris Reddington, sister, Nadine O'Connell and nephew, Timothy O'Connell. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 20, 2009 at 7 PM from LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN with Shawn Cornett, Minister, officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday from 3-7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. "H" was a lifetime resident of this area, a 1960 graduate of Thornton Fractional High School in Calumet City, IL, served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, and was on the Board of Directors of the Calumet City Hunting and Fishing Club.
