Harlin R. Butler, age 86, of Yuma, Tennesse and formerly of Hammond, Indiana, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017. Loving father of Marilyn (Tony) White, Debbie (Darrell) Lusk, Cindy (Bob) Wojciechowski, Wanda (Ken) Rodda, and Ronda (Jim) Wilkes. Proud Po of numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Devoted father in law of Miles Wilkes. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Patricia "Pat" Butler nee Blake, his daughter Linda Hendrix and his daughter and caretaker Kim Wilkes, his parents Walter and Frances Butler nee Kerschofske, and his sister Betty Lou (late Lee) Matlock. Harlin graduated from Hammond Tech. He retired after many years with Inland Steel. Harlin moved to Tennessee 20 years ago to live happily on a farm. He enjoyed watching TV and was an avid sports fan. He liked bowling in his younger days. Harlin had a sweet tooth, and had a drawer filled with candy and cookies. He looks forward to being reunited with his wife Pat. Harlins family wishes to thank all the staff at Lexington Manor.
