Gordon "Skeeter" L. Bush, age 57, of Griffith, passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 06, 2013 He is survived by his loving wife, Barb nee Okichich, of 20 years; father, Bill (Lucille) Bush of Hammond; brother, Allen "Bob" (Renee) Bush of Hobart; step-brother, Glenn Novak of Union Mills. Also surviving are nieces, Christine (Lou Jr.) Panici, Laura Bush of Chicago Heights, and Tara Pulley of Hobart. His in-laws Walt (Lori) Okichich, Robert Okichich, John (Girsel) Okichich, Dan (Karen) Fulkerson, David (Lora) Manaea and Laura Okichich. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Gordon was preceded in death by his brother, David Bush, mother Jean (Bush) Miller nee Cox, and brother-in-law Joseph Okichich. Gordon was a member of the Lake County Fish & Game Club of Griffith. He will be dearly missed by family and friends, including his life-long friend and hunting companion, Tim "Rambo" Slayton. Gordon also enjoyed caring for and spending time with his nephews, Noah, Logan, and Seth.
