Gloria J. Burkart, age 75, of Cedar Lake, IN., passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025.

Gloria is survived by her son, Shane Burkart (girlfriend, Dawn); grandchildren: Sebastian, Isaiah, Emily, Jenna and Daniel; sisters: Margie Balkis (Joe), Sally Swets, Janet Ramsey; niece/caretaker, Julie Montealegre; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by her parents: John and Dorothy Swets; husband, Lester Burkart; son, Jason Burkart; brothers: Jimmy Swets and Doug Swets, David Ramsey; sister, Agnes Mussel.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a future date and time.

Gloria enjoyed crochet and arts & crafts.  She loved spending time with her family, as family was most important to her.  Gloria was a very kind and giving person. She will be deeply missed by all who love her.
