Gloria Novosel nee Thurnau, age 85, of Perryville, Maryland and formerly of Highland, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Loving mother of Mark A. Novosel. Proud grandma of Sharon Novosel and Raymond Novosel. Cherished sister of June Brauer. Fond aunt of many nieses and nephews. Dear friend to many. Preceded in death by her husband John Novosel. Gloria was a longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where she was extremly active with the Altar Guild and Ladies Society. She was retired from Illinois Bell. Gloria loved cooking, her grandchildren, and her many trips to Las Vegas. She was loved by many and will be missed by more. Lying in State on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 10 AM until time of Service at 11 AM with Paster Eric A. Kleinschmidt, officiating at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9009 Kennedy Ave. Highland, IN.
