Gloria E. Demeter age 69 of Whiting, Indiana, passed away on Thursday September 22, 2022. She is survived by her daughters: Nicole (Phil) Topor, Kimberly (Matthew) Danielson, and Pamela (Robert) Robinson; grandchildren: Ariel, Lucas, Justin, Leah, and Jason; her siblings: Edward (Dannielle) Roszkowski, Regina (Mark) Cassoday, and Mary Jane (William) Daly; several nieces and nephews, and by her fur babies: BamBam, Pebbles, and Missy. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Regina Roszkowski, and by her fur baby Toby.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Adalbert Catholic Church with Fr. Stanley J. Dominik celebrating. Inurnment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, Illinois.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday, September 30th from 10:00am until the time of services at St. Adalbert Catholic Church located at 2106 Indianapolis Blvd. in Whiting, Indiana.

Gloria was a graduate of George Rogers Clark class of 1971. She was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Whiting where she served on the Parish Council and Art and Environmental Commitee; and was formerly employed at St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, and Community Hospital in Munster. Gloria loved Holidays and all of the decorating that went with them, shopping, going out with her family and friends, all animals, and "movie night" with her girls.
