Glendon Raymond, age 78, of Lowell, IN passed away Monday, April 12, 2010. He is survived by 3 children, Jeanette (Dave) Zilai of Lowell, IN, Timothy G. and Robert M. Raymond of Hammond, IN; 3 grandchildren, Rachel (Nick) Pash of Lowell, IN, Samantha Zilai of Lowell, IN and Joseph Raymond of Whiting, IN; 1 brother, Bill (Dorothy) Raymond of Gary, IN; 2 sisters-in-law, Julie Raymond of Whiting, IN and Donna Raymond of Warsaw, IN; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Therese Raymond, 2 brothers, Norman and Robert Raymond, and a sister, Maryann Sacco. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN. Glendon was a lifetime resident of this area, a US Navy Veteran, worked as an Engineer for Conrail, and was a member of American Legion Post # 428 of Hammond, IN.
