Georgia Raye Farabee, age 88, of Whiting, IN, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Georgia is survived by her children: Tommy Earl (Lisa Chen) Culver, Kenneth Claude Culver, David Wayne Culver; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Jerome R. Metteal; sister, Joan M. Cutler. She was preceded in passing by her parents: Henry R. Metteal and Rienera Concordia (nee Siebenhaar) Metteal; children: Linda Michelle Culver, Janice Lee Farabee, Buddy Allen Howard and Kathy Lynn Culver; siblings: Henry R Metteal, Annette Fuller and Robert Metteal.

Georgia was a former member of Pine Street Presbyterian Church in Hammond and Grace Church in Munster. She enjoyed playing scrabble and working puzzles. She loved Country Music as well as singing in her younger years and aspired to be a singer.  Georgia was a devoted mother and adored children and babies; she couldn't get through a store without trying to win over the smiles of all the kids she would see.  She was a dedicated worker throughout life and worked into her late 70s.  Georgia will be greatly missed by all who love her.
