Genevieve Novosel nee Schario, age 100, of Hammond, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 She is survived by 3 children, James Novosel of Munster, IN John (Eve) Novosel of Schererville, IN, and Betty (Joe) Petrovich of Porter, IN 4 grandchildren, John (Jenny) Novosel of Schererville, IN Nicole (Steve) Guernsey of Dyer, IN Joe (Kathy) Petrovich of Porter, IN and Diane (Brian) Porrett of Valparaiso, IN 9 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary, Noah, Macey, Connor, Ashley, Joey, Matt, and Andy She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Michael L. Novosel, her Parents Maurice and Lillian Schario, and a Brother Kenneth McCloud Private funeral services were held Saturday, January 29, 2011 at LaHayne Funeral Home 6955 Southeastern Ave. Hammond with Rev.
