Evelyn G. Lunsford nee Bennett, age 79, of Hammond, IN, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Loving mother of Margaret A. King and Carolyn S. Elders. Beloved sister of Kent Schalkle, Kerry (Sharon) Schalkle, Peggy Schalkle, and Joe Schalkle. Proud grandma of Jason Lunsford, Eve (Gerald) Noble, Timothy Ian Elders, and Benjamin Elders. Dearest great-grandma of 15. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents John M. Bennett and Eva M. Schalkle nee Donaldson; her sister Vienna (late Ed) Brown and her brother Kirby (late Sandra) Schalkle and her former husband Junior Lunsford She was loved for her loving, caring and free spirit. She loved life, her girls and the Lord. She will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
