Elvira G. Sandoval nee Garcia, age 79, of Whiting and formerly of Chicago, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Beloved wife of late Ramiro Sandoval T. Loving mother of Ramiro Sandoval JR and Laura (Edward) Patzsch Proud grandmother of Alexandria Patzsch and Emily Patzsch. Cherished sister of late Virginia (late Isauro) Quiroga, Alicia (Jose Maria) Flores, Antonia (Raymundo) Trevino, Gumersinda (Pedro) Trevino, Maria de Los Angeles (Zenon) Gonzalez, Margarita (Rogelio) Quiroga, and Victor (Juani O.) Garcia Devoted daughter of late Victor and late Paula Garcia nee Villareal Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Elvira was all about her family. She was an Avon Lady in order to help put her children through Catholic School. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Elvira was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and a dear friend to many. Funeral Mass Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 3510 Deodar St., East Chicago, IN with Rev. Carlos Martinez, A.I.C. officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
