Eloy Melero, age 52 of Calumet City, IL. passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021.

Eloy is survived by his wife, Dora H. Melero nee Herrera; children: Eloy Melero and Cynthia Melero; siblings: Mario Melero, Leonides (Emilia) Melero, Frank (Theresa) Melero, Eliazar Melero, Carmen (Albert) Negrete, Rosa (Luis) Melero-Garcia and Araseli (Alejandro) Lopez; mother, Leonor Melero nee Corral.

Eloy was a big jokester and loved being around family.  He was the kind of guy to give the shirt off of his back(and it was a big shirt so there was plenty of room).  He enjoyed all of the Chicago Sports Teams.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Jesus Shepherd of Souls-St. Andrew's located at 768 Lincoln Avenue, Calumet City, IL. 60409 with Father Luis Valerio Romero officiating, Visitation prior to Service will begin at 9:00 AM until time of Mass at 10:00 AM.  Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, IN 46324.
