Elaine R. Casiano nee Woods, age 68, of Hammond, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015.

Loving sister of Bonnie (Fred) Stan and Colleen (Bill) Whittaker. Proud aunt of Sherry Sparks, Melody (Larry) Kitchen, and Brandi (Mike) Young. Dearest great-aunt of Sarah Sparks and Alex Sparks. Preceded in death by her parents Roy and Easter Woods nee Buck and her sister Wendy (Jim) Rapacki.

Elaine was a lover of animals. In her younger years she enjoyed painting and fishing. She was always happy to go to Old Glory with her late friend Wendell Gleason to meet her friends. Elaine is looking forward to not only seeing her parents and sister, but also her African Grey parrot Fenmore and her beloved dog Pooter. She was loved by many and will be missed by more.

A Celebration of Elaine's life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 11 AM until 2 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home , 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN.
