Edward Woodrow Lewis' Obituary
Edward Woodrow Lewis, age 82, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shelby Lewis; son, Steven Lewis; daughter in law, Kelli Lewis; grandchildren: Erik (Brei) Lewis, Megan Lewis, Jaci (Dominick Franze) Lewis, Samantha and Aaron Lewis; great grandchildren: Tyler Matthews, Carson and Ellie Lewis, Wesley Redding; sisters: Elizabeth and Evelyn of North Carolina. Preceded in death by his parents: Leon and Jessie Lewis; son, Ed Lewis; brother, L.C Lewis; sisters: Helen and Mary.
Ed was a U.S. veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who he loved dearly. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, June 30, 2018 11:00 a.m. at LaHayne Funeral Home (6955 Southeastern Ave. Hammond, IN). Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ed may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.Funeral Service
