Obituary

Doris J. Henderson, age 79, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017. She was born in Anderson, Indiana on May 3, 1938 to the late Kenneth and Martha Gift.
Doris enjoyed animals and loved children. She was a collector of many things. Some of her hobbies included: gardening, knitting, crocheting, puzzles and watching NASCAR. She leaves to cherish her memory, three children: Candace Hill, Teresa Fetten, Wendy Ogar; brother, Howard Gift; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and many friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; son, Kerry Delehantey; sister, Wanda Colestock. A Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday, November 3, 2017 at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME , 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, Indiana from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
