Donald E. Neal, Jr., age 26, of Hammond, IN, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 21, 2016. He was the loving son of Mildred McAllister, devoted father of Damien Alexander Neal, cherished fiancée of Amy Ayala and beloved brother of William R. McAllister. Dearest grandson to Dorothy J. McAllister and fond nephew of Martha McAllister, Paul E. McAllister, Jr., and Ellen McAllister. Donald was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Hessville Aerie 3117, and a proud member of the Eagle Riders ("People Helping People") – known as "L.G." (little guy). He worked as a billing coordinator at Baker & McKenzie in Chicago for the last 5 years and was very highly regarded by all of his colleagues. He worked very hard to provide for his family as they were always his number one priority. Donald was a special man who loved life to the fullest and always put other people first. Everyone who met Donald loved him instantly. You couldn't be mad or in a bad mood around him because he had an intoxicating smile and he always knew when to flash it at precisely the right moment. He had a one-of-a-kind personality that instantly stole your heart. Donald touched so many lives in his short time here and will be missed dearly by so many people, but will live forever in all of our hearts. Friends are invited to celebrate Donald's life with his family on Saturday, August 27, 2016, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN. There will be a brief Memorial at 5:00 PM by the Eagles Riders of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Hessville Aerie 3117 and a Memorial Service by Rev. Frank Duvall at 7:00 PM.
