F L A G Donald N. Koerner, Sr., age 73, of Hammond, IN passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010. He is survived by 2 children, Linda Stotts of Dyer, IN and Donald N. (Aimee) Koerner, Jr., of Schererville, IN; 4 grandsons, Keith Stotts and Adam, Austin and Logan Koerner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith A., daughter, Patty, parents, Max and Natalie Koerner, brother, Bob Koerner, and sister, Judy Koerner. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 10 AM from LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN with Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Donald was a lifetime resident of this area, worked as a salesman for Lazy Boy Furniture Co., and served in the US Air Force.
