Donald "Don" F. Gretz, age 75, US Army Veteran, of Hammond, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016. Beloved son of the late Frank J. and the late Grace M. Gretz nee Elkins. Loving brother of Carol (Ronald) Smith, Joann (William) Hoover, and the late Dale Gretz. Fond uncle of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Don retired from Inland Steel after 25 plus years. He was a member of the 25 year club and the Golden Times in Munster. Don loved to travel the world by plane, train, boat, or automobile. He was a very charitable man who always helped out many different organizations. Don was loved by many and will be missed by more.
