Diane A. Jechort (nee Frischbutter), age 56, of Beecher, IL, formerly of Hammond, IN, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Bruce W.; 1 son, Nicholas (Evelyn) Qualls; 1 brother, Daniel (Carolyn) Frisch; 1 nephew, Michael Frisch; other friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Cleva Frischbutter, and a brother, Paul Terry Frischbutter. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 11, 2009 at 10 AM from LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN with Dr. Bassam Abdallah officiating. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, September 10, 2009 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be appreciated. Diane was a lifetime resident of this area, a member of 1st United Lutheran Church of Hammond, IN and worked as a Bus Driver for the Beecher School District 200U.
